Meet Jamie Oakenfold.
After completing my university degree in neuropsychology & 5 seasons with the MNR as a fire fighter, I decided to pursue a career in fitness. I started my journey as an entry level trainer at a local Thunder Bay gym, eventually becoming a senior level trainer and finally, the personal training manager. During the pandemic, I noticed the need for more support for prenatal and postnatal women in this city. As I branched out on my own, it became extremely apparent that the support for women was almost non-existent. It’s become a passion of mine to help women in this city to feel empowered, inspired and comfortable in their own bodies.
With 11 years’ experience as a certified personal trainer, I’ve learned that training and coaching need a synergistic and holistic approach. I believe that living a healthy lifestyle goes much more beyond than just working out. Lifestyle, mental health, spiritual wellbeing and support systems all come into play when beginning a fitness routine. I will be a part of that support system with a guided fitness plan tailored specifically for you and professional coaching throughout your entire experience with me.
